Helping the Homeless - Shelly K
We had a family of 5 come in to pick up coats and shoes and learned that they were currently living in a hotel. They neither had warm coats, decent shoes or food to live on. We all pulled our efforts and managed to not only get them all fitted for shoes and coats but made sure they left with shelf stable/microwaveable food for a week. The family were beyond grateful and left giving tons of hugs and thank you's. A many tears were shed but they were happy tears. We all were extremely touched and felt that because of our partnership with the Subaru Loves to Help program, we were truly able to make a difference in the lives of this family.
Rolling Thunder 2026 - Macon B
We here at Sport Durst Subaru are proud to sponsor the Rolling Thunder Inc. We helped to sponsor the Rolling Thunder Inc. Chapter NC-5 in the 24rd Annual Chill Chili Poker Run. The Rolling Thunder Inc. helps to provide any qualified dependent child of the military veteran who is enrolled in a college program a chance to earn an additional boost to help defray the cost of attending that college.
Subaru Loves Learning Impact Report - Macon B
In the last five years Sport Durst Subaru has worked with Adopt A Classroom to help the kids in the local Jacksonville schools. In the last five years we have donated $17,040 to the schools and supporting 30 classrooms and impacting 828 students' lives.
Pets Impact Report - Macon B
In 2025 Sport Durst Subaru donated $4,000 to Adoption First Animal Rescue. Thanks to this kind donation 120 animals were impacted, 66 of the animals were dogs and 54 of the animals were cats. The funds also helped cover veterinary care, adoption preparation, and ongoing animal care costs. We are thankful to have such great panthers like Sport Durst Subaru, without their help we would not be able to impact so many animals' lives.

Sport Durst Subaru Supports HOPE for the Warriors 1-Mile Fun Run & Trunk-or-Treat 🎃🇺🇸 - Macon B
At Sport Durst Subaru of Jacksonville, love isn’t just something we speak about — it’s something we show up for. And this fall, we were honored to live out the Subaru Loves to Care Promise in a way that celebrated the heart of our community: our military families. Sport Durst Subaru proudly sponsored the HOPE for the Warriors 1-Mile Fun Run, where kids, parents, and supporters of all ages laced up their sneakers to run with purpose. Giggles mixed with cheering crowds as little feet flew across the finish line — every stride honoring our service members and veterans who inspire us with their resilience and courage. But the celebration didn’t stop there… Right after the run, HOPE for the Warriors® hosted a spirited Trunk-or-Treat event that transformed the space into a Halloween wonderland. Cars were decorated with spooky, silly, and candy-packed creativity as children paraded around in their favorite costumes. From superheroes to princesses to tiny firefighters, each smile reminded us that joy and community fuel real healing. Together, these events brought families together in a day filled with: 🎗️ Support for those who serve 🎃 Memories for local children 🚗 Community spirit fueled by love Sport Durst Subaru was there — not just as a sponsor, but as neighbors committed to the heroes who protect our freedom and the families who stand proudly beside them. Blood Drive 9/30/2025 - Macon B
Sport Durst Subaru is proud to partner with the American Red Cross. We worked together with the Red Cross to set up and host a blood drive in our showroom on 9/30/2025, with the goal of collecting 29 Units of blood. Together with the Red Cross we were able to crush our goal of 29 units and collect a total of 32 units of blood. Every unit of blood donated is able to help 3 people so in turn us as a community was able to help 96 people with only 32 units of blood. Sport Durst Subaru and American Red Cross would like to thank everyone that came out to donate blood. Y’all helped us to make a big impact in our community.
